Record 95% Placement Achieved for 2024 Batch with Top Recruiters

Prakasam Engineering College announced a record placement outcome for the graduating class of 2024, with approximately ninety-five percent of eligible students receiving offers from reputed companies across IT, core engineering, and analytics sectors. The Training and Placement Cell coordinated campus drives, pool campuses, and virtual interviews over several months to maximise opportunities for every participant.

Recruiters included established multinationals, product companies, and fast-growing startups seeking talent in software development, embedded systems, data science, and operations. Students underwent structured preparation covering aptitude, technical interviews, group discussions, and communication skills, supported by faculty coordinators and alumni mentors.

Several offers exceeded industry benchmarks for the region, reflecting both student performance and the institution's sustained industry engagement. Pre-placement talks and internship conversions also contributed to strong final numbers, with many students receiving multiple offers before making their decisions.

Department heads credited consistent coursework, laboratory exposure, and project work for helping candidates perform confidently in technical rounds. The college leadership thanked visiting recruiters for their trust and reiterated a commitment to maintaining quality placements while expanding skill-based training for upcoming batches.

Parents and students can refer to official placement summaries and company lists published through the Training and Placement office. The next cycle of drives for the upcoming batch is already being planned with additional focus on emerging roles in cloud, cybersecurity, and sustainable technologies.

The statistics are impressive. Hope the college continues mock interviews and coding practice for every branch equally.
