Annual Technical Fest 'TechVista 2024' Concludes Successfully

TechVista 2024, the annual technical festival of Prakasam Engineering College, drew to a close after three days of competitions, exhibitions, and collaborative learning. The event brought together students from every department to showcase projects, participate in coding and robotics challenges, and attend expert talks on emerging technologies shaping the engineering landscape.

The inaugural session was presided over by the principal and senior faculty, who emphasised innovation, teamwork, and industry readiness. Student clubs coordinated tracks on IoT, renewable energy, and software development, while industry mentors joined panel discussions on careers and skill-building beyond the curriculum.

Highlights included a 24-hour hackathon, a project expo judged by alumni and guest engineers, and inter-department quiz and design contests. Winners were recognised with certificates and trophies, and several teams received encouragement to refine their prototypes for state-level competitions.

The cultural evening on the final day celebrated campus talent through music and dance performances, reinforcing the college's belief in a balanced student experience. Feedback from participants praised the organisation, the variety of events, and the opportunity to network across batches and branches.

The institution thanked sponsors, volunteers, and the entire PEC community for making TechVista 2024 a success. Plans are already underway to expand workshops and industry sessions for the next edition, with a continued focus on practical learning and student-led innovation.
